Over the next week or two you can look at your booklet all about time.

Let's think about the days of the week.

Can you say the days of the week? How many are there?

Perhaps every morning talk about what day it is, think about what day it was yesterday and what day will it be tomorrow. This was part of our morning routine in school. Think about the language used; today, yesterday, tomorrow, what day is it? what day will it be? etc.

Here are a few songs that can reinforce the days of the week:

You could read 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' can you hear the days of the week? What did the caterpillar eat on those days?

Here is a recording of the story:

Here is an interactive game to place the days of the week in order: https://www.roythezebra.com/reading-games/high-frequency-words-days.html

Remember to look at the starting sound and letter to help identify the word!
