This Thursday and Friday it might be an idea to really focus on reading key words. Key words are important because this is how we read as adults. We look at a word and automatically know what it says. Your child needs to learn these by sight to be able to read fluently.

www.teachyourmonstertoread.com A free online game that brings your child through learning phonics sounds, learning whole words and reading short sentences. We often use this in P1. (Please note it is free to play on a laptop or computer but not on a tablet app).
